Position Overview : As the Manager of Med / Surg and Telemetry, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of our high-acuity departments. You will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety, optimizing staff performance, and implementing evidence-based practices that enhance the patient experience. Collaborating with senior leadership, youll develop strategies to improve patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and support continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Team Building : Supervise, mentor, and inspire a dedicated nursing team to ensure the highest standard of care within Med / Surg and Telemetry units.
- Operational Management : Oversee daily operations, ensuring appropriate staffing, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective resource allocation.
- Quality & Safety : Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction, reducing adverse events and promoting positive outcomes.
- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, ancillary services, and administration, to ensure cohesive care delivery.
- Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, and champion evidence-based practices that align with hospital policies.
