Position Overview:
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process from start to finish within your assigned territory. This includes prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Your expertise will help expand our customer base, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Territory Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct presentations, product demos, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Closing Sales: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring all necessary steps are followed and targets are met.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, customer service, and logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager, Account Manager, or similar sales role.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies and the full sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet sales quotas.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or agricultural equipment sales is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
