Job Description :
To be eligible to apply for this position, you must be a current student enrolled at McDaniel College. This position is open to both work study and campus employment students.
- For the spring 2025 semester, a Chemistry TA is needed for General Chemistry 2. Student must be available either Tuesday 1-4 pm or Wednesday 1-4 pm.

Scope : This position is for students who have satisfactorily completed the designated Chemistry course (Lecture and Lab) previously. The student will assist the instructor of one of the offered Chemistry Lab sections (usually 1-4 pm with the possibility of 7-10 pm when offered).

Physical Characteristics :
This position requires sitting and standing for long periods of time, as well as some bending and stooping. This position does have some limited lifting involved but not more than 30 pounds at a time. Quite a bit of finger / hand dexterity is involved regarding mixing chemicals, setting up reactions, and cleaning glassware. Ability to work with chemicals on regular basis.
