Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will engage with customers in a retail environment, assisting them with their inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members will be essential in driving sales and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MSC prides itself on providing superior customer service. This is the foundation of who we are and how we have become one of the leading commissary companies. This includes our Customer Service Specialist team.
Duties for a Customer Service Specialist are broken into Job specific roles that include but are not limited to:
- Handling facilities financial transactions (ACH, deposits, reconciliation and refunds)
- Build, retrieve and verifying spreadsheets
- Complete and verify ACH checklists
- Data retrieval from multiple programs
- Compiling, verifying and entering financial information
- Handle and resolve Customer Service phone calls professionally and timely
- Creating and filing folders and daily paperwork
- Weekly workload rotation with other team members (ACH, Deposit and Phone Calls)
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook) and other computer programs
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High detail orientation and organization
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
