Position: Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in our construction projects by efficiently handling all aspects of the projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project resources. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Integrated Project Team and Resource Leadership:
- Lead and build a cohesive project team, ensuring effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Manage all project resources, including human, material, and technological, with an emphasis on eco-friendly practices.
- Foster team development and skills enhancement, aligning with project goals and sustainability standards.
- Scope, Quality, and Deliverable Excellence:
- Define and manage the project scope, ensuring clarity in deliverables and requirements.
- Integrate quality management throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining high standards in all deliverables.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in developing project outputs, adhering to environmental and quality benchmarks.
- Financial and Procurement Management:
- Develop, manage, and control the project budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial integrity.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract management, focusing on efficiency and value.
- Provide regular financial reporting and analysis, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Comprehensive Schedule, Risk, and Change Oversight:
- Create and maintain a realistic project schedule, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, implementing a robust risk management strategy.
- Manage and implement change effectively, ensuring minimal impact on the project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Mastery:
- Develop and execute a stakeholder communication plan, ensuring regular, clear, and effective communication.
- Engage and manage stakeholder expectations, maintaining a strong focus on stakeholder needs and project objectives.
- Prepare and disseminate comprehensive project reports and conduct post-project reviews for continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in construction project management or related field
- Experience with construction scheduling and budgeting software
- Experience with permit application process, construction laws, and regulations
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and build relationships with clients and contractors
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with clients, subcontractors, and other team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction related field or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Experience with LEED and sustainable building practices is a plus
