We are seeking a full-time Estimating Assistant to join our team on-site in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves using PlanSwift to perform take-offs for new plans and communities that McDermott Construction is bidding on. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with technology, adaptable to new systems/software, and capable of maintaining strong communication with builders and vendors. Additionally, this position requires providing professional customer service and supporting the estimating team with various administrative tasks.
- Experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in PlanSwift
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools as well as willingness to learn new software
- High school diploma or equivalent; education in Construction Management or a related field is a plus
