We are driving the energy transition with over 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries. The Timekeeper will play a key role in this effort, working with our project teams and field personnel to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
About the Role
The Timekeeper will be responsible for analyzing workable solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of our company, processes, and customers. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee time and attendance data using Timeworks software
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all timekeeping activities
- Work with the HR team to maintain personnel information databases
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy
- Analyze timekeeping data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies
- Support preparation and distribution of payroll reports and summaries
- Assist with accruals, projections, and other accounting reports to home office
- Collaborate with various departments to address common problems within the project structure or systems
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and adhere to data protection policies
Requirements
- 3 years of timekeeping experience, preferably in an oil and gas project environment
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a relevant area preferred
- Bilingual Spanish desirable
- Strong proficiency in mathematical computations, data entry, and filing
- Ability to create, formulate, and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel
- Good knowledge of professional timekeeping principles, concepts, and terminology
- Working knowledge of electronic timekeeping systems and payroll related principles
