Summary
McDill is seeking a curious, highly-motivated Digital Account Executive who will oversee our key client accounts to lead and execute large omni-channel campaigns and brand activations. You are the internal brand spokesperson and act as the key link between the creative team and the client by managing the day-to-day digital marketing activities, ensuring overall client satisfaction is maintained and the digital strategic direction is successful. This is an in-person role that requires you to be at our Milwaukee office on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to determine the best strategies for reaching their business and project goals for their omni-channel digital marketing initiatives.
- Prepare detailed campaign briefs and statements of work, which include project/business objectives and tactics, timelines, deliverables, creative and content needs and budgets.
- Act as the internal brand spokesperson to ensure the brand’s digital activation aligns with the brand’s essence and tone.
- Develop and create the omni-channel digital marketing strategy and plan.
- Direct and oversee the work of copywriters, creatives and programmers to ensure the work aligns with the pre-set strategy, and proofread material before pieces are shared with clients.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, working closely with the internal project coordinator.
- Facilitate internal and client-facing project status meetings to ensure major project milestones are met.
- Review and approve monthly metric reports for campaigns, which include data collection, interpreting insights from the data, and recommendations for future/ongoing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars, create and publish content for McDill and clients.
- Regularly monitor digital trends and best practices for content and design for web, social media and lead generation, and educate the McDill team on these learnings.
- Review and manage client monthly project costs and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising/PR or Digital Media, with 3-5 years of agency experience highly preferred.
- Experience managing digital campaigns and social media management, publishing and reporting for employers and clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
- Confident, driven and motivated, and places a high value on producing quality work.
- Strong ability to lead internal teams.
- Local to the Milwaukee area, as this is an in-person role.
