McDivitt Law Firm is one of the leading Personal Injury firms in Colorado. We are seeking an attorney with 1-5 years experience to join our Workers’ Compensation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling workers’ compensation cases, advocating for injured workers, and navigating Colorado’s workers’ compensation laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in workers’ compensation claims, hearings, and appeals.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
- Negotiate settlements
- Prepare cases for litigation
- Stay up to date on Colorado workers’ compensation rules and laws
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and case options.
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
- 1-5 years of experience handling workers’ compensation cases preferred.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
- Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience using case management software is a plus.
- Bilingual preferred but not required
