McDonald Nissan is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to fill a Greeter position. In this role you will interact with customers as they arrive, answering basic questions they may have and checking them into our operating system for both sales and service. This is a customer service role where you set the initial warm and inviting tone for the dealership.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Check in customers for sales and service appointments.
- Enter basic customer information for walk-in’s.
- Field phone calls and forward them to the appropriate department.
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner striving to minimize the amount of time spent on hold.
- Take thorough messages, indicating the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, the time and the message the caller wishes to leave.
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
- Assist with filing duties and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with customers and employees.
Qualifications

Be able to work approximately 40 hours per week.
- Hours and schedule may vary to accommodate other employee’s vacation time and sick time.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a teams-based phone system.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate our appointment management system.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to work well with the public.
