Responsibilities
- Perform used car inspection, including test drive, and prepare an estimate that meets McDonald quality standards.
- Performs repairs and QC checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, tires etc.
- Use Rapid Recon for workflow
- Use All Data and or Identifix to aid in diagnosis and vehicle repairs.
- Ensure accuracy of parts requests, inspection forms and recon related documents.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
- Prior experience can be dealer or independent
- All levels of qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve is most important
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
