SUMMARY
This position oversees and provides leadership for one of the Information Technology (IT) functional teams. Leadership is provided through creating and executing strategies, making decisions for enhancement, changes, upgrades, and initiating new projects to meet changing business needs. This position also manages a wide spectrum of technology platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain comprehensive software license documentation, review all invoice payments for hardware, software and services.
- Establish appropriate maintenance schedules for system and equipment to provide ongoing performance with minimal down time.
- Consult and coordinate with others (supervisor, vendors, experts, etc.) about problems such as equipment performance, output quality, and maintenance schedule.
- Understand SD-WAN, LAN, and wireless network technology.
- Significant experience with virtualization technology (server and storage) to include Active Directory, SaaS applications, and Hybrid cloud technology
- Manage all aspects of staffing including employee schedules, on call coverage, PTO, and project and implementation delivery plans
- Significant experience with the Microsoft development stack including MS-SQL server
- Practical experience with Agile and Lean methodologies.
