Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our office operations and ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including files and data entry
- Assist with litigation support, including preparing documents and conducting research
- Provide general administrative support to the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling mail and packages
- Process and manage cash transactions, including handling deposits and withdrawals
- Draft legal documents and assist with document preparation
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including word processing and office duties
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Support the paralegal team with tasks such as data entry and file organization
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a legal setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong word processing skills
- Experience with data entry and file management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with legal drafting and litigation support
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the job
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new software and systems
