The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understating their needs and ensuring a smooth sales process.
Essential Duties
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Customer retention focused through a proactive touch model
- Partnership with Marketing supporting lead and demand generation
- Partnership with Outside Sales supporting large customers and lead generation
- Partnership with Customer Experience to support quote conversion
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or beyond
- 3 years of sales, sales development, and/or account management experience
- Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, etc.), ERP Systems, CRM Knowledge
- Comfortable working fluidly across personal and digital communications channels
- 5 years of customer success or customer service experience
- Knowledge of fluid power systems
- Fluid power systems training/certifications
- Knowledge of the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) industry
