Machines and Shifts You’ll Work On
- Doosan NHP5100 12 Pallet Horizontal Mill, FANUC Controls, dedicated Tooling and dedicated Fixtures, entry level skill set, minimal set-up. 3rd shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am - 6pm. They also receive 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked.
- HAAS Vertical Mill with a 2-pallet changer, HAAS controls, dedicated tooling and dedicated fixtures, entry level skill set, minimal set-up. 1st shift - Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, 2nd shift - Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3am, or 3rd shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am - 6pm. 2nd and 3rd shift will receive 11.5% shift premium on all hours worked.
- Load and unload parts into pre-set fixtures on CNC mills.
- Run pre-programmed machining cycles for a set group of components.
- Monitor tooling condition and perform basic tool life management.
- Deburr and clean parts after machining to prepare for inspection.
- Perform basic dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
- Read and understand blueprints to verify machining requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
- Familiarity with CNC machines and safe shop practices.
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Understanding of dimensional tolerances and ability to use common inspection tools.
- Comfortable with routine, repeatable tasks requiring attention to detail and consistency.

- Physical Requirements
- Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures.
- Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
