About the Role:
As a Project Engineer you will be assigned to support multiple Project Leaders and Senior Project Leaders with tasks related to the projects that they are responsible for managing. Project Engineers are responsible for interacting with the client, visiting project sites, reviewing construction plans and specifications, preparing minutes, and representing mcfa well to all members of a project ecosystem. Emphasis in this role should be on the initiative to take on assignments, an eagerness to learn more about project leadership, and the ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Collateral duties associated with this role include providing administrative support to the president of the division.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFQs for project bids.
- Evaluate contractor bids and make recommendations.
- Create and maintain project budgets and schedules.
- Prepare project status reports and participate in project meetings.
- Track and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits and document progress with photos and reports.
- Review contractors pay applications and change orders.
- Coordinate with vendors for FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), move management, and AV (Audio-Visual) installations.
- Ensure all closeout documents, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals are completed.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support project and division success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ProCore, PlanGrid).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with P6 Primavera scheduling software.
- PMP
- CMCC
- Knowledge of construction best practices and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
