McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia, P.C. is looking for an Associate to join our Buffalo, NY office.
*Salary Commensurate With Experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues.
- Draft, review, and interpret legal documents.
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
- Assist in trial preparation and strategy development.
- Assist with the management of a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
- Participate in client meetings and prepare case analysis reports.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- At least 1-3 years experience in civil defense litigation or have completed a judicial clerkship.
- Previous Civil Defense Litigation experience preferred.
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York.
- Superior analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at MKCI Therefore, the firm requires working from the office at least 60% of the time in accordance with the firm’s guidelines
