Founded in 1999, McGrew Equipment is a full-service auction house specializing in construction and tractor equipment. We host bi-weekly auctions, offering both online and on-site bidding at our headquarters in Seven Valleys, PA.This position is accountable for performing manual labor outdoors as directed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties. - Operate/Inspect trucks, construction and farm equipment including, (but not limited to) tractors, excavators, skid steers and front-end loaders to evaluate the overall condition of the machine.
- Record detailed findings of equipment inspection as well as detailed information and specs of the machine.
- Loading and unloading equipment on trucks for delivery during slow times.
- Performing inspections on equipment when needed to assist in the sale of machines.
- Performing additional miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Performing all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Relevant experience with farm and/or construction equipment.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks and functions.
- Ability to develop relationships with diverse groups and various levels of personnel.
- Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, problem solving, strong organizational & communication skills.
- DOT Medical Card preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, drive, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
