Recruiting Assistant
The McGuff Company, Inc. is a member of a family of health care companies consisting of a medical products distribution company, compounding pharmacy and a FDA reviewed sterile drug manufacturing company. We provide FDA approved drugs, compounded preparations and medical products to health care facilities world wide. We have been established for over 40 years and have experienced substantial growth over the past 5 years.
The McGuff Company is currently looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team.
Essential Functions
- Source candidates through LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms.
- Phone Screen and review all incoming candidates to determine additional next steps for an interview.
- Manage candidate pipeline via really, Zip-recruiter and Excel.
- Collaborate with senior management to create and post requisitions.
- Schedule and coordinate all interviews via phone, video (via Microsoft Teams) and in-person via Outlook Calendars.
- Manage job boards and Career Pages.
- Send candidate confirmations and invites.
Professional Requirements
- Exhibit professionalism in all situations.
- Must be customer service and detailed oriented.
- Knowledgeable MS Office Suite
- Excellent typing and communication skills
- Human Resources experience a plus
- Bachelors degree a plus
- Knowledge in SAGE100 accounting software a plus.

- Highly motivated, organized, strong work ethics, attention to detail and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Good organizational abilities, Clear oral expression and interpersonal skills to effectively work with applicants, customers and co-workers

General Information and Benefits and Salary
- Immediate opening, full time
- Typical day will consist of calling applicants, engaging in questions and answers to determine if applicant provides enough quality attributes to schedule a face-to-face interview with department heads and management. Additionally, as time allows, support to our customer service team and various assigned projects according to your ability.
- Office location just South of the Harbor/MacArthur intersection near the 405 freeway.
