Lead Fence and Deck Installer
Are you a skilled and experienced carpenter? We are a reputable company based in Eugene, Oregon, seeking a talented Journeyman level Carpenter to join our team. If you have a passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair fences and decks according to project specifications
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
- Operate and maintain various carpentry tools and equipment safely
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior carpenters when necessary
- Drive company vehicle and tow trailers
- Pickup materials as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Carpenter
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials with precision
- Skilled in operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
