FT Behavior Support Staff

Hourly Rate -$19.75 - $21.75

Qualifications:
Minimum HS Diploma/GED required with 3 - 5 years of direct experience working with
individuals with autism/intellectual disabilities/challenging behaviors
RBT certificate preferred OR Must agree to complete all requirements for Registered
Behavior Technician certification within 180 days of hire
Must possess a strong behavioral background with relative work experience, knowledge
of behavior ABA principles
Excellent organization skills, communication skills, independent work skills, and above
average computer/iPad skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
Implements behavior intervention plans and strategies; consults and collaborates with
members of Behavior Support services ;
Participate and completes in Behavioral Assessments for individuals
Responsible for data collection review, monitoring, implementation, and training/support
in accordance with behavior support plans
Provide direct behavior support, crisis support, services and training for DSPS staff and
individuals
Participates in psychiatry clinics and appointments
Provide direct crisis and care to support individuals as needed.
Participate in ISP meetings, IDT meetings, medical appointments, community outings
(CPS) and transportation for individuals as needed.
Flexible daily work schedule. Primarily M – F hours with occasional early morning
or evening hours.

Ability to pass physical and drug screening
Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)
TB testing
