Responsibilities
- Create labels, file electronic and hard copies of documents, and handle post-closing matters.
- Research, retrieve, and collect documents in iManage and e-rooms.
- Process invoices, create shipping labels, redline documents, maintain Excel spreadsheets, and create PDFs.
- Prepare and compile signature pages and exhibits.
- Proofread documents for grammatical and spelling errors.
- Handle post-closing filings (IRS, UCC, land records).
- Prepare final closing transcripts.
- Calendar deadlines and reminders.
Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent with some college education preferred and one to two years law office clerical or general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail along with excellent spelling and grammar.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
