The ideal candidate has experience overseeing a variety of events from start to finish in a professional services environment, a keen eye for detail, a highly professional and client service-oriented demeanor, and ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. The candidate will support marketing events for practice areas, industry teams, departments, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates events, including meetings, seminars, and client receptions, based on attorney input.
• Collaborates with attorneys and business development teams to determine event size, goals, and budget.
• Researches and inspects potential venues, providing recommendations to attorneys and staff.
• Negotiates with vendors, ensuring contracts meet industry standards and firm requirements.
• Manages logistics such as catering, transportation, guest accommodations, and audiovisual needs.
• Serves as the main point of contact between attorneys and service providers for event execution.
• Oversees event setup and ensures everything runs smoothly, addressing issues and assisting guests as needed.
• Evaluates event success post-event, offering recommendations for improvements and cost savings.
• Works closely with marketing and business development teams, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
