McHale Landscape Design is searching for the next great Administrative Assistant for our Easton, Maryland Maintenance Office. McHale Landscape Design is a residential landscape architecture company and design-build firm dedicated to designing and constructing extraordinary residential gardens, pools, outdoor living areas, and home additions. Since 1981, the firm has designed, constructed, and planted residential projects throughout D.C., Maryland and Virginia, including more than 300 award-winning landscapes.
What an Administrative Assistant does:
- Answers phones, greets visitors, takes messages and fields/answers to all routine and non-routine questions
- Receives and distributes deliveries
- Process client and project information and paperwork following the outlined procedures
- Receives and processes information from incoming requests for new projects
- Prepares written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for information
- Assists all administrative/accounting associates as needed.
- Drafts general correspondence, memos, proposals, and other documents necessary for analyzing and promoting business goals. Proofreads copies for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for the accuracy and clarity of the final copy.
- Perform online research as requested
- Executes numerous support requests exercising independent judgment
- Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing systems
- Maintains necessary calendars
- Responsible for other projects and assignments as needed
You will be a great fit if you have:
- 2 years’ experience working in a professional business environment supporting administrative assistant duties
- Experience working in a professional service environment is a plus
- Ability to work in-office Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Excellent phone manner
- Excellent attention to detail, judgment, and dependability, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Candidate must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong working ability with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Salary : $20 - $25
