Required qualities for successful HHA's:
- Basic skills in clerical, service, and manual areas.
- Good customer service skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent G.E.D. preferred.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide.
- Experience working with cognitively impaired elderly adults.
- One year experience of providing personal care services through a licensed home care agency or skilled nursing facility preferred.
