Mendocino Community Health Clinic (MCHC) is currently seeking an OB/GYN to lead Care for Her, our women’s health department. We are a collaborative practice looking for a physician to lead our team and provide full-scope patient care. Our team includes four full-time, experienced OB/GYNs and a part-time OB/GYN, eight Certified Nurse Midwives, and three Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. Care for Her patients are seen for regularly scheduled appointments in our outpatient clinic and for surgeries and deliveries at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley (8 minutes from our clinic). The practice encompasses all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology care.
Our health center is currently delivering approximately 90% of all babies in our county, which is near 800 deliveries per year. Our experienced and talented CNM's are present in the hospital 24/7 and often oversee the non-complex labor and deliveries, with consultation by our OB/GYN on call. Our OB/GYN on-call supports emergencies of MCHC patients as well as unassigned patients and provides back-up for local FP/OB's.
Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical supervision, peer review, credentialing committee, scheduling oversight, participation in clinical leadership meetings, policy/protocols, personnel issues, and building collaborative internal and external relationships.
Total Estimated Compensation: $525,000. - $565,000.
This estimation is based upon a team of four OB/GYN's, actual total compensation will vary based upon number of call shifts taken.
Director compensation includes the following elements: A salary depending on experience between $380,000. - $420,000., and additional monthly call pay at an estimated annual total of $145,000.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Ca license to practice medicine
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Ten or more years inpatient and outpatient experience, post Residency
- Five or more years leadership experience in healthcare
