- High school diploma or equivalent required. Secretarial or administrative experience preferred.
- Combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates possession of knowledge of the responsibilities stated.
- Knowledge of technology and computer software.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Performs routine clerical functions such as typing, filing, data-entry, processing in-district and outside correspondence, answering phones, preparing special project materials, and ordering supplies.
- Greets visitors in a friendly and genuine manner; directs them to the appropriate location.
- Types/prepares correspondence, purchase orders, check requests, etc.
- Assist with the supply order; this includes obtaining quotes from vendors, as well as coordinating receipt and distribution of goods.
- Provides a variety of clerical and office assistance duties; makes and distributes copies, processes mail, documents, correspondence, invoices, and other materials.
- Assist in reporting and updates for the employee management system (Skyward) and assisting in data entry.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of materials and distribution of materials.
- Oversee the switchboard and reception area of the central office. Refers inquiries to designated areas.
- Maintain reception area materials for visitors.
- Manage office inventory for ensuring adequate supply of items.
- Complete invoices for IT department.
- Assist in compiling data for reports, records, and audits.
- Works with other positions, organizes, plans, and assists with student registration.
- Answers phone, responds to routine questions and parent inquiries, schedules appointments, and route calls to appropriate persons.
- Triage incoming IT help desk calls. Assists with basic IT functions, i.e. re-setting passwords, submitting tickets, taking down information.
- Responsible for creating and making updates to badges for District employees.
- Assign employee group for new hires and updating employee information in Skyward regarding access.
- Ability to meet the internal and external customer services needs of the central office, including staff, students, parents and the community.
- Maintain schedule for conference rooms at the Central Office.
- Assist in compiling data for reports, records, and audits.
- Maintains confidentiality of personnel and school district business records as required.
- Ability to perform with awareness of district requirements and policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director Information Technology.
