Responsibilities
- Operate fork trucks to move materials safely within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
- Perform order picking tasks, ensuring that items are selected accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare shipments for distribution.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating cranes and other heavy machinery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety practices.
