Compensation: Non-exempt; Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Lead repair calls on advanced commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, showcasing your in-depth knowledge and skills.
• Customer Relations: Serve as the direct point of contact for customers, providing top-notch service and building long-term relationships.
• Innovative Solutions: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, offering creative solutions to meet customer needs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and installations meet MCI's high quality and safety standards.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Essential Functions:

• Perform start-up and commissioning of new commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, site surveys, and replacement modifications, tailoring solutions to customer specifications.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours service, overtime, and on-call rotation work.
• Complete work orders, warranty claims, and other administrative tasks, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to provide comprehensive solutions and support business development.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electricity.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of related commercial experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and skills, particularly related to HVAC systems & equipment.
• Safety awareness.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and controls
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
