McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for a Cost and Design Specialist to join our Design Team in Martinsburg, WV !
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as the Cost and Design Specialist in Martinsburg! They will partner with design, sales, and operations teams by maintaining open lines of communication and discussion on designs, estimates and pricing.
Shift : 7 : 30am to 4pm
Pay : $55,000 and up depending on experience
As the Cost and Design Specialist you will work with our teams across the company ensuring costs and estimates are accurate as well as providing additional insight into design techniques and areas for improvement. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate estimate and cost data is available for the teams, identifying and making improvements to new and existing designs to help ensure continued success.
Cost and Design Specialist Job Responsibilities :
- Create design plans and provide quotes for new business in a timely manner.
- Enter and maintain prices in Salesforce.
- Utilize a system to maintain current lumber standards, freight and quoting estimates.
- Maintain accurate cost data
- Provide design suggestions, areas for improvement and share new and innovative design ideas with the Sales and Operations Teams.
- Assist Sales during customer meetings with technical product insights.
- Offer product reviews and suggestions for improvement to current customers.
- Help with internal reviews and implement changes as needed.
- Travel is required to plants or customers as needed.
