POSITION DESCRIPTION
We currently have a Garden Center Yard Laborer position available in our Oshkosh location for the fall season. This would be a great opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic individual who enjoys working outdoors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help unload and load plants
- Moving and rearranging plant material in the store
- Assisting with plant care
- Additional general labor duties as assigned due to seasonal fluctuations.
BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
- Experience in Nursery, Landscape or Garden Center industries preferred
- Experience using a bobcat loader or willingness to learn
- Ability to carry up to 20-30 pounds multiple times during a workday
- Ability to work long hours on your feet
- Ambitious, hard-working, high energy, while always smiling
- Ability to primarily work outdoors
- Pride in your work and with a positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced seasonal environment
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work with others to achieve the team goals
- Demonstrated willingness to learn
