Position Summary and Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in agribusiness, such as agricultural economics, farm management, supply chain management, and sustainability.
- Develop and update course materials to align with industry trends and best practices.
- Mentor and advise students in academic and career development.
- Establish partnerships with agricultural enterprises, government agencies, and agribusiness professionals.
- Engage in service activities within the university and broader community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business or closely related field.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate level.
- Experience developing or enhancing academic programs, particularly those emphasizing experiential and interdisciplinary learning.
- Industry experience in agribusiness or agricultural economics.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field.
- Proven ability to establish industry partnerships that support internships, professional field experiences, and career pipelines for students.
- Evidence of scholarly productivity, including publications, conference presentations, and research collaborations.
