Job Summary: Billing hospital pro-fees and clinic charges for a variety of specialties: Cardiology, Cardiology diagnostic testing, Cardiothoracic surgery, Critical Care, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Vascular surgery and Vascular imaging services. Ability to manage multiple billing tasks, prioritize workload to ensure timely billing and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to read billing statements, explanation of benefits (EOBs), and answer patient billing questions. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Pleasant and helpful customer service skills. Ability to apply basic coding concepts. Self-starter who can work independently and is capable of taking ownership of tasks and projects. Use multiple electronic health record (EHR) systems to access and transfer billing data.
Educational/Licensing: Associates degree or five years billing experience required. Multi-specialty billing experience preferred.
