What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Manager position at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center?
The Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital-wide Risk Management through proactive surveillance, complaint and grievance resolution, identification, investigation, analysis, and evaluation of risks and safety concerns; and the selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing, or eliminating these concerns.
Hourly Range : $43.25 - $58.40
Education / Licensing : Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience : A minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare organization, including two years managerial experience. Acute care experience is essential, and some non-acute care experience is also helpful. Adept at interpersonal relations including oral and written communication.
Essential Job Functions : Encouraged to have an ASHRM designation.
