Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Six Sigma is a development program in both technical and soft skills you will benefit from in the years to come. This development is a significant investment for McKesson, our preference is to have you commit to the program for a minimum of 2 years to not only learn, but become a proficient and skillful leader. The program is designed so that most of the training can be accomplished in the first 12-18 months, skill refinement through project execution from day 1 through year 2, and the expectations of certification within 18-36 months in the program. We are excited to take this journey with you and have you on our team!
Minimum Requirements
2 year of experience, optimally in project management or process improvement.

Minimum Requirements
2 year of experience, optimally in project management or process improvement.
Critical Skills
- 2 years working on process improvement projects
- 1 years using business analysis to improve processes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the business
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen to problems, and help identify potential solutions.
- Self-starter with initiative to identify opportunities, identify the people needed to build solutions, and independently drive the project to successful completion
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
- Financial modeling expertise is a plus
- Experience with Business Intelligence applications (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with process mapping
- Knowledge of project management or PMP certification
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
