Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical history.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic.
- Perform specialized procedures including spinal taps, as needed.
- Participate in case management for patients requiring additional support or resources.
- Provide care in various settings including emergency room, medical-surgical units, occupational health, and pediatrics.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is advantageous.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or toddler care is a plus.
- Strong case management skills are desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
