Our client is looking for a marketing campaign contractor that will be responsible for managing marketing programs for education and association events, products, and services. This role collaborates with Marketing leadership and key stakeholders to align on priority campaigns and initiatives. This position will develop and execute marketing strategies, overseeing budgets and go-to-market plans with strong positioning and compelling value propositions. They utilize audience segmentation to optimize engagement across various channels and contribute to cross-functional efforts to enhance the relevance of products and events.
This 3-month contract position is based in Arlington and in the office one day a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses data and market research to understand the profiles, needs, requirements, and buying habits of target audiences, developing differentiated GTMt strategies and plans
- Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive, targeted marketing plans to achieve business goals, ensuring plans are tied into the overall marketing strategy
- Formulates and executes marketing strategies and campaigns that position programs, products, and services as integral resources that co-ops need to be successful.
- Recommends best practices and improvements to or new development of association products, services, and processes
- Develops value propositions, messaging platforms, and detailed tactical promotion plans for each program/event, product, or service
- Develops, directs, or sources original, creative, and effective content for marketing materials, including email promotions, social media, videos, case studies, feature stories/articles, fact sheets, podcasts, promotional literature, advertisements, and direct mail to promote these programs
- Analyzes the effectiveness of marketing efforts in achieving revenue and engagement goals. Adjusts campaigns where needed and advises on product and service improvements
- Collaborates with other communication team members and contributes expertise to help implement and coordinate other departmental programs as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or other applicable areas
- 7 years of marketing or advertising experience in a large organization managing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience leveraging diverse marketing channels to drive results across segmented target groups
- Experience in event, product, and service marketing and with market research and data analytics
- Proficiency with CRM and Marketing Automation platforms, website content management systems, and email marketing platforms
- Proficiency with design platforms to develop engaging visuals for marketing materials
- Ability to collaborate across departments to develop marketing strategies and implement processes and achieve results with a record of accomplishment of building and maintaining productive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
