Title: SAP S4 Ariba Functional Consultant
Location: Raritan, NJ
SAP S4HANA Ariba functional consultant designs and implements solutions for procurement processes, translating business needs into SAP system configurations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Ariba process solutions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of the Procure to Pay process.
- Assist in process design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Ariba modules, including Ariba Buying, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Contract Invoicing and Spend Analytics.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements, leveraging SAP Ariba capabilities andor integrations while staying within industry best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users, addressing any issues related to the SAP Ariba platform.
- Provide insight into effective change management for Ariba implementation with internal and external organizations
- Participate in implementation planning and execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery and maximizing the value of the Ariba products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements. drive project milestones and deliverables.
- Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
- Function as a liaison between the business and technical teams.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with a strong work ethic.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP Ariba modules, preferably on behalf of a retail corporation.
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, particularly in Indirect Procurement.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba solutions, including Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Contract Compliance, Supplier Performance and Spend Analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical resources.
- Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and promote the adoption of change in process.
- Familiarity with SAP S4HANA and Fiori applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP and OpenText VIM systems is beneficial.
