General Medicine Examiner
We're seeking dedicated board-certified Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants to conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations.
- Exams are one-time appointments, involve no treatment, follow-up exams, and/or writing of prescriptions
- Must be able to perform PAP’s, breast, pelvic, rectal and Snellen exams or willing to complete unpaid training.
- Depending on the specialty exam required, the appointments can range between 30-90 minutes.
- You may see as many or as few appointments per week that you would like.
- Flexible schedule: Up to 30hrs/week, 8am - 7pm Monday - Sunday
- 1099 Independent contractor position
- No INSURANCE billing required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
- Reviewing medical history and associated records
- Interpreting clinical data
- Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)
- The examinations must be completed in-person (in a clinic setting).
- Documentation will be submitted via a web-based system.
- Collaboration with other professional and support staff as needed and communication with internal and client team members.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $80 - $120 per exam
- Appointments can range between 30-90 minutes.

- Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service and care to the claimants.
- From a primary care perspective, be able to fully assess examinee health status through physical examinations.
- Collaborative, best proactive and informed standard of care-centric, decision-making skills
- Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine medical opinions.
- Technically competent with computers/printers/scanners to include proficiency with Google Workspace ( Google Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
- Must be state licensed Medical Doctor, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner
- All Male PA/NP must have a female medical assistant in the exam room while performing PAP, pelvic and rectal exams on female claimants.
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
- Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice.
- Education and training in an US accredited, post baccalaureate (Masters) course of study and - Completion of accredited Medical School, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Specialty/sub-specialty clinical experience is valued but not required.
- Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations preferred but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
