McLarty Associates is seeking a motivated, resourceful, highly organized individual for a full-time, entry-level graduate fellow position to support our Office of the President and McLarty Associate’s Head of Strategy. We are looking for an individual who can work full-time starting early May. This position is based in Washington, D.C.
As a graduate fellow, you will work on a variety of projects with different engagement teams. The fellowship aims to give you exposure to the breadth of our services and client work. You will work closely with our professionals – Associate through Director – and gain first-hand experience in consulting. Your assignments may involve news tracking, preliminary research support, drafting, and supporting communications and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting extensive research on public policy, international, and business issues;
- Writing memos, compiling biographies, preparing presentations;
- Assisting in developing and executing external communications and marketing strategies to promote the firm’s services and brand;
- Assisting in creating and curating content for various platforms, including the firm’s website, social media, and email newsletters;
- Monitoring regional and global news outlets;
- Attending and reporting on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients;
- Assisting professional staff with general office and administrative support;
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates for this position possess an interest in international affairs, communications, marketing, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn how a geopolitical consulting firm operates. Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is preferred. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
