The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Counselor. (Part-Time)
Responsibilities:
- Complete crisis assessments
- Provide brief onsite counseling
- Distribution of information on community resources to clients
- Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
- Work schedule may vary depending on shift
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required, MHP required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience completing crisis assessments
- Knowledge of community resources
- One year of work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention
Salary Range: $19.50 - $24.50 per hour
Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
