The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a Family Treatment Court Recovery Support Specialist. (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
- Shall be familiar with and supportive of the domains of Advocacy, Professional Responsibility, Mentoring, and Recovery Support utilized within the program.
- Provide advocacy and mentoring through shared experience.
- Provide assistance in recovery plan as it pertains to Family Treatment Court.
- Demonstrate knowledge of community systems and resources.
- Maintain their own mental health recovery process and develop an action plan for their own mental, emotional, physical, and social health.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) designation within two years of hire
- Personal experience in recovery from lived experience with mental illness and/or a substance use disorder
- Willingness and ability to engage in self-disclosure to assist in treatment
- Passion to help others with their recovery
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and valid Illinois driver’s license
Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
