McLean School (mcleanschool.org), a K-12 co-educational independent school in Potomac, Maryland, seeks applicants for an Associate Director of Enrollment to begin on or before July 1. For 70 years, McLean School has been helping bright K-12 students realize their full potential by providing a comprehensive college preparatory program that emphasizes small classes and differentiated instruction. The Associate Director of Enrollment reports directly to the Director of Enrollment and is engaged in all aspects of recruiting and enrolling new students. In addition, the Associate Director is responsible for coordinating the Financial Assistance Program. The ideal candidate has experience in K-12 independent schools and supports the School’s mission.
Duties of the Associate Director (include but are not limited to)
- conducting personal interviews with prospective parents and students
- leading informational tours of the School
- evaluating applicant files- including Psychoeducational testing
- serving as an integral member of the Admission Committee
- serving as a liaison with Educational testers and consultants
- participating in the coordination of all Admission-related events
- attendance at evening and weekend events is required
This position requires a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, a high degree of organization, and a genuine desire to support the core values and mission of McLean School. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of Admission experience and a solid knowledge of learning challenges.
Salary Range
$80,000-$100,000
