POSITION SUMMARY
Under moderate supervision, this position operates the screen tensioning machine and the reclaiming spray systems. This role requires knowledge of related tasks and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The employee will also operate the screen coating machine and the screen exposure until to meet production needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Stretch and glue fabric to aluminum frames.
- Mix chemicals.
- Use tension meter and micron gauge.
- Clean and recondition aluminum frames.
- Use pressure and spraying systems.
- Reclaim screens using proper chemicals.
- Visually inspect screens.
- Coating screens with emulsion using the coating machines.
- Burning screens using the exposure unit.
- Record data for quality and inventory control.
- Communication effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow departmental job policies and procedures.
- Maintain a neat, safe and orderly work area.
- Represent department on Safety, Quality, and other committees as needed.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
