What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting and Payroll Clerk position at MCM Staffing, LLC?
Accounts Payable functions such as obtaining invoice approvals, data entry for invoices, issuing vendor payments and other financial transactions
Accounts Receivable functions such as collecting and cashing customer checks, match payments to invoices, research discrepancies, collections and other duties as assigned.
Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger
Balance sheet reconcilations.
Preparing and posting journal entries
Generating financial reports as needed
Address minor building issues/manage building vendor relationships and reorder office supplies as needed
Collecting and verifying employee timekeeping data
Calculating employee wages, including overtime and commissions
Processing payroll deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments)
Issuing paychecks and direct deposits
Preparing and filing payroll tax forms (W-2s, 1099s)
Maintaining employee payroll records
Other duties as assigned
