Bagging and Tagging Responsibilities :
Responsible for the quality and hourly production goals of their assigned tasks, while working safely in a clean room environment. Successfully completed training per the New Hire Training Manual.
Plastic components will feed off the machine-bag them, weigh them, tag them, and load them on pallets.
Identify machine faults and bring to the attention of supervisors.
Scanning work in process (when required) to finished goods and transfer stock to pack out.
Display a positive attitude and ability to follow directions.
Maintain a high level of quality for all parts produced.
Has authority to stop the process if nonconforming or suspect material is found.
Other duties as assigned.
Requires alertness, precision, and methodical attributes.
Ability to follow directions with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
Standing, bending, lifting, and walking on the cement floor daily.
Ability to visually inspect parts with accuracy.
Must be able to load pallets with components by using both hands.
Ability to perform change-overs and poke-yoke.
Sorter Responsibilities :
Unload trucks and Receive daily UPS and FedEx deliveries.
Audit all incoming shipments for accuracy.
Organize materials and / or components by delivery note number prior to receiving in SAP.
Receive all shipments accurately into SAP to generate barcode labels and update inventory.
Prioritize workload with the Receiving Technician to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Work with Quality to ensure timely release of components on incoming hold inspection.
Work with Accounts Payable on receiving issues for payment of invoices.
Responsible for FIFO stock storage in the warehouse.
Other duties as required.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience working in Shipping / Receiving.
Able to drive and operate a forklift.
Moderate computer skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Experience working in the automotive industry highly desired.
Production Tech (3rd&1st) Responsibilities :
Successfully complete training per the New Hire Training Manual.
Operate fully and semi-automated machines according to operator instructions, while maintaining quality and production goals.
Operator will be trained and must perform machine change over’s and poke-yoke’s.
Maintain accurate daily inspection and production records.
Identify machine faults and correct them.
Report all production and machine reject concerns are communicated to the maintenance tech.
Scanning work in process (when required) to finished goods and transfer stock to pack out.
Follow the department’s process and procedures along with the Company’s rules and regulations.
Keep plant clean and organized.
Assist with inventory when necessary. Work as an individual and as a team.
Display a positive attitude and ability to follow directions.
Maintain a high level of quality for all parts produced.
Must work safely and encourage others to do the same.
Has authority to stop the process if nonconforming or suspect material is found.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Able to lift 40 lbs.
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
Minimum Requirements :
High School diploma / GED or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred.
Outstanding manual skills.
Basic computer knowledge (data entry).
Ability to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assist.
