What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at McMahon Foundation?
Job Summary:
The Executive Director of the McMahon Foundation works under the guidance of the Board of Trustees and in accordance with the foundation’s articles of incorporation and bylaws and is responsible for managing all operations of the Foundation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Board to seek out areas of concentration for grant making that fulfills the mission of the Foundation and serves the best interests of society.
· Identify and evaluate requests that meet the Foundation’s funding criteria.
· Plan and prepare for Board Meetings. Prepare agenda and provide appropriate administrative support for agenda items, as needed.
· Record minutes during board meetings and ensure that minutes of all board meetings are completed and placed on file.
· Provide trustees with complete, accurate and timely reports, data and supporting information to enable them to carry out their responsibilities.
· Inspect construction sites, monitor grantee performance and conduct post-grant evaluations, when needed.
· Oversee all financial records, develop budgets and monitor expenses.
· Manage public relations for the Foundation to include all forms of traditional and social media.
· Manage the physical assets of the Foundation, including uses of the McMahon Foundation building, the McMahon Farm and oil/gas interests.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Hire, train, support, evaluate, and supervise staff to ensure the Foundation functions efficiently and effectively.
· Supervise personnel: Administrative Assistant and Yardman.
· Record Payroll records, pay and file payroll taxes, keep track of vacations and sick leave.

Education and Experience:
· Preference of bachelor’s degree or higher.
· Preference of 5 years or more of administrative and leadership experience.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
