This role is responsible for achieving manufacturer and dealership goals by strategically managing inventory, optimizing sales processes, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Development
- Identify market trends, analyze sales data, and create targeted sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, ensuring long-term success.
- Establish and execute sales campaigns that align with Volvo Trucks and dealership objectives.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and profitability goals.
- Maintain a well-balanced inventory based on customer demand and market insights.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a dynamic team of sales professionals.
- Set and track performance objectives, providing coaching and motivation.
- Foster a collaborative, high-energy sales culture that drives results.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations.
Customer Experience & Engagement
- Leverage Volvo Connect and CRM tools to track leads, follow up on opportunities, and build lasting relationships.
- Assist customers in selecting, ordering, and customizing Volvo trucks to meet their needs.
- Oversee factory orders and coordinate seamless execution and delivery.
- Provide ongoing support post-sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Operations & Strategy
- Monitor dealership and Volvo factory-sponsored programs to maximize opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer service.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and training sessions to stay ahead of trends.
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented and comply with legal requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in heavy-duty truck sales, dealership operations, or a related field.
