About Us McManamy Jackson Hollis, LLC is a law firm specializing in real estate transactions of both residential and commercial property. The firm has offices in Savannah, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Pooler, and Hinesville. Savannah is the main office. The firm employs more than 30 lawyers and staff.
Job Summary The Firm’s Receptionist is required to welcome and attend to client and visitor needs on the phone, in-person and via email in addition to light clerical tasks. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Non-Exempt Position
Usual Hours – Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with 30 minutes for lunch
Reporting Structure
Receptionist reports to the Administrative Manager
The Administrative Manager reports to the COO
Essential Functions
- Attention to detail
- Answers telephone, screens and directs calls
- Ability to Multi-task
- Take and relay messages
- Greet persons entering the firm and direct them to the proper destination
- Handle queries from the general public and firm clients
- Maintains logs, receives, and sorts all firm mail and deliveries
- Maintains cleanliness of firm common areas
- Provides general administrative and clerical support as needed by the firm to accomplish the mission of providing its clients with courteous and efficient service
- Appreciation and respect for Client confidentiality
- Willingness to participate in system focused work-flow process in which he or she is one of many links
- Expresses thoughts clearly and concisely through written and verbal communication
- Cooperates with other staff
- Shows enthusiasm for the job and projects a positive attitude
- Exhibits a strong work ethic
- Expresses team spirit and cooperation by regularly participating in staff conferences, and sharing ideas among all co-workers, leaders, and specialists
- Exhibits the utmost respect for financial controls governed by multiple public and private sources and internal firm policies and procedures respecting proper file handling

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands on experience with general office equipment (copier, fax, scan, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer Service attitude and professional appearance a must
- No visible body art
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Employment is subject to a 60-day probationary period.
