What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at MCMH?
Excellent opportunity to become a team member of the Environmental Services Department at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital Clinics. This is a full-time, day shift position, scheduled to work every third weekend, and includes some holidays and on-call. Hours are 6:30 am -3:00pm. This position will split between working on inside and outside assignments.
Outside duties may include landscaping and tending the Serenity Garden, trimming bushes and trees, mulching, planting shrubs and flowers, and spring and fall cleanup. Some snow and ice removal. Inside duties may include sweeping and mopping floor, operating floor care equipment, floor maintenance of patient rooms, vacuuming, trash removal, attending to water coolers, assisting with the paper shred pick up and other custodial duties.
This position involves a considerable amount of walking, standing, stooping, lifting, overhead reaching and working with cleaning chemicals and lawn care products. Must be flexible, have good time management skills, have a positive outlook and be a good team player with great customer service skills. A valid Driver's License and Insurance is required.
